Upon booking river trips this summer, people will be prompted to enter in the non profit of their choice on our list of registered non-profits in the Northern Idaho and Western Montana regions. 5% of the payment towards their trip will be sent to the non-profit.

Raft for a Cause was started in 2013 by the owners of Western Waters and Coeur d’Alene Adventures. We wanted to provide our customers with an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Western Montana and Northern Idaho regions, fulfill our passion for rafting, and to have fun while giving back to our communities.

Often people become involved in fundraising events as a way to overcome an obstacle, cope with a loss, provide a role model, forward a cause, or as a way to change their lives for the better. The owners of these two companies are deeply involved in their communities and this is just another way in which we want to give back significantly to the people who share their adventures with us.

Raft for a Cause was started in 2013 by the owners of Missoula's Adventures with Western Waters and Coeur d’Alene Adventures. We wanted to provide our customers with an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Western Montana and Northern Idaho regions, fulfill our passion for rafting, and to have fun while giving back to our communities.

Fundraising is a significant way that non profit organizations obtain the money for their operations. If you would like to sign up your non profit to benefit from the proceeds of Raft for a Cause please register here!

Raft for a Cause is our way to increase our visibility and support for our business as well as raising funds for the great non-profits in our area. It is designed to help raise money for causes and organizations we and others care about.

To participate, we require:

  • An E-Newsletter about Raft for a Cause or we can do this for you with our E-Newsletter system
  • Poster or handbills placed at your location of business or office to raise awareness
  • The submission of a great story about your organization (250 words or less) to us that we will profile one week this summer on our Facebook page! Please send this to: westernwaters@gmail.com. Please consider following our facebook feed.
  • Add a link to our website on your website so people can support you through RFAC from May-September 2013.
